renesmee isnt the issue, it’s the screen writer!
Mellisa Rosenburg, w/e her name is. She didnt do twilight OR new moon justice!
and if Eclipse isnt up to par as the book, then she should be fired.
only reason why the box office has done so well is because we have so many die-hard fans that want it to br brought to life. and some fans such as myself, we want the books AND Stephanie Meyer to be honored in her work. by having the script being as close to the books possible.
and not leaving out OBVIOUS things left out.
so what is Breaking Dawn will have to rated R. leave it alone. i dont want the movie to be all
“soften” up JUST because we have a young audience. let the script be true to the books.
End of Story.

maybe we should even do what the movie “The Lovely Bones” did
they had a screening b4 it came out worldwide. a group of fans to review the movie
(ofcourse still in the filming stage) and ask the fans what’s missing.
my thoughts. : ]]

I absolutely agree with ur 2nd comment ’bout the screening Deborah M. Although it would be hard to stay absolutely true to the book (if u can write a better script i would love to see it)(i’ve tried to write a script for a book with my friend and no offence to friend but i am the brains and she’s the beauty, and it’s hard, with Stephenie Meyer’s books it is fantasy and you do have 2 think ’bout the actors and how some of these things are done, btw there wouldn’t be as many fans 2 the movies as there are if they sucked (like i said it’s hard 2 write about and think ’bout the actors). I love both the books and the movies and although there were some things i would have liked to see in the movies i think it’s great that there were some extra things in there that weren’t in the books as well. And if you hate the movies sooooooo much make ur own twilight movies. If not stop ur bloody whinging. Btw i got dux for my year level- don’t know what it is… GOOGLE IT!!!! under australian education.

I think Melissa Rosenberg has done a very good job with the scripts of the Twilight books. Are there parts missing that I wish weren’t yes, but that’s life when you’re turning a 500-600 page book into a 1 1/2-2 hour movie. Things considered unimportant to the over all story are left out. You should bear in mind that while writing all of the scripts she worked very closely with Stephenie Meyer about what was necessary and had to be included. Also, the PG-13 rating for ALL of the Twilight movies is not them being “soften up.” It’s part of Stephenie Meyer’s contract with Summit that none of the movies be greater than PG-13. This is because Stephenie Meyer is Mormon and Mormons are not allowed to see rated R movies and she herself has never seen one. Also, regarding Renesmee, I feel like they would have you use a real baby (for when she’s not walking), then real fouryear old (for when she’s up and about)(which is the age she is at the end of the book) and CGI the four year old Renesmee to look young for the middle part inbetween.
