Even though she attended the Sundance Film Festival to promote her most recent film, “Adventureland,” Kristen Stewart had no choice but to answer some questions about her most famous role so far.
Asked about the “Twilight” sequel “New Moon,” which is set to start shooting some time in March, the 18-year-old actress, who arrived at Sundance on Monday, said she is excited to start working on the second installment of the vampire saga and hopes it will go as smoothly as the first one.
Addressing the major changes since shooting the first flick, its success and sudden directorial change, from Catherine Hardwicke to Chris Weitz, Stewart said the cast and crew need to “be on the same page to make the same movie [as the original ‘Twilight’ was],” or else it will be a very disoriented project.

‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson might have been linked to a host of hot ladies over recent months, but he has denied having romantic ties with anyone.
The British actor insisted that the he was unattached while visiting ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’, for an episode that airs this Friday, reports the China Daily.
Now, are you single? Ellen asked.
Ah, yeah, the actor replied.
However, despite women throwing themselves at him regularly, Pattinson’s search for true love seems to be continuing.

Here is the E Online exclusive:
Dakota Fanning…with fangs?
It’s possible. I can exclusively report that the 14-year-old child star—she turns 15 on Feb. 23—is in talks to play Jane opposite Robert Pattinson & Co. in New Moon, the upcoming sequel to box office megahit Twilight.
“There were no auditions,” a source reveals. “They just offered it to her outright, and now they’re in negotiations. They’ve been going back and forth.”
Jane is a member of Italy’s Volturi, the most deadly group of bloodsucking killers in author Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling series.

E Online Reports: The best parties don’t get started until way past Twilight.
Summit Entertainment announced Tuesday that the teen-vampire romance will be available for your home-swooning pleasure March 21 in a two-disc, extras-laden, special-edition DVD set.
But the makers of Twilight don’t just want you walking into any old big-box store whenever. Those DVDs are gonna be ready at midnight sharp—on a Saturday. (DVDs usually drop on Tuesdays.)
Which means you’re being encouraged to put on your Edwardian-era formalwear and party like it’s Nov. 21, 2008, when the fans came out in droves—starting at midnight—to give the film a $35 million opening day en route to a $70.6 million first weekend.
Bonus features included on the dual Twilight DVDs include audio commentary by Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and director Catherine Hardwicke; a seven-part making-of documentary called The Adventure Begins: The Journey from Page to Screen; a featurette about the film’s big splash at Comic-Con; extended and deleted scenes; and three music videos from Muse, Paramore and Linkin Park.
Kind of gets your blood pumping just thinking about it.

“Twilight sensation Robert Pattinson has the world at his feet, thanks to the vampire romance’s staggering popularity, but he recalls having been awkward and insecure as a teen.
“I was shy, withdrawn and I didn’t have any self-esteem,” says Pattinson, 22. “The year that I was 17 was one of the worst of my life, because I was searching for my place [in the world].”
Rob, who is humble and self-effacing (a stereotypically British trait), says he was so shy during his youth that he had a crush on a girl for years without telling her. ”

If you thought you loved Twilight on the big screen just wait until you see the extras on the DVD.
Robert Pattinson can’t wait for the DVD to come out and hints that we will see an even scarier Edward Cullen in the outtakes.
He told fan site robertpattinsonoline: “There’s quite a lot of stuff. We fought the big fight scene at the end within the first week, and I was really convinced that the way I established the character arc that Edward needed to be 100 percent demonic in the last fight. “The monster”, which he always says he is to Bella, I wanted him to become that at the end.
“I kind of psyched myself up a week to do this nuts fight. As soon as I started doing it I don’t think anyone expected me to do it like that so they were like, “Uh, tone it down.” I had maybe thirteen takes where my direction was “tone it down,” on every single take.
“I had no idea what was going on. I would love to see what the first take was, especially after seeing the final thing with one bit of the fight with me and Cam. Where we were growling at each other, where we both were really into it like we were vampires.
“When we watched the playback afterwards, there was a big bright light and we didn’t realize, we thought it was kind of dark and you could just see these two guys, one with a bouffant hair cut and the other with his abs just there like “Argh!”
He added: “It’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I hope that’s on the DVD, it’s quite funny.
