Taylor Lautner Making 8-Figures Per Movie!

From Deadline:
EXCLUSIVE: I’ve learned that the Taylor Lautner juggernaut continues in Hollywood as this 18-year-old Twilight Saga action star and teen heartthrob just keeps booking movie after movie. Last year’s highest paid teenage actor (for a reported $7.5 million pay day in Universal’s Stretch Armstrong with Hasbro and Imagine) is starting off the new year by producing and starring in 2 new studio tentpoles during 2011. I can scoop that Fox 2000 and New Regency each coughed up an 8-digit paycheck to work with 8-pack-abs Tay-Tay for his two only available time slots this year. Meanwhile, three top producers including Michael Bay and his Platinum Dunes are circling Taylor to star in their movies for 2012 and beyond. That’s because of Lautner’s enormous Twi-hard fan base and aggressive promotion of his films, and not because of any solo box office he’s done yet.
Fox 2000 and the filmmakers now are looking to cast his love interest in Incarceron, and I’m told the frontrunners are Blake Lively, Jennifer Lawrence, and Emma Watson. John Palermo Productions will produce (Wolverine, Drive) with Lautner’s own Quick Six production banner., Lautner will play the lead role from Catherine Fisher’s sci-fi/fantasy novel which last March went to Fox in a rights bidding war after the book was published in the U.S. this November and jumped onto The New York Times bestseller list. Lautner plays a character who lives his entire life in a savage and futuristic prison society. The screenwriting duo of Adam Cooper and Bill Collage are writing. (They are also scripting Moby Dick for Timur Bekmanbetov and Moses for FOX and producer Peter Chernin. So why not for Lautner, too?)
The 2nd Lautner vehicle is an as–yet-unnamed international spy thriller set up at New Regency described to me as “The Bourne Identity for the next generation.” The story is loosely based on the exploits of Juval Aviv, a former Israeli Mossad agent who was the inspiration for Steven Spielberg’s Academy Award-nominated Munich. Lautner will produce with Alexandra Milchan (who is currently producing The Wolf Of Wall Street with Leonardo DiCaprio), daughter of Israeli mogul Arnon Milchan who is New Regency’s founder.
Taylor is scheduled to finish shooting the Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn this spring. And Fox 2000 and New Regency grabbed his two available slots for 2011. But insiders tell me that several producers are now trying to woo him to their projects: The team of Craig Zadan and Neil Meron (Chicago, Hairspray) who have an untitled project; Scott Stuber who has Demon Wars, a book written by bestselling author R.A. Slavatore. Lautner would play a reluctant hero in this epic fantasy adventure confronting the dark tides of destiny in his search for justice and peace; and Michael Bay whose production company Platinum Dunes is aggressively trying to make a movie this year with Taylor’s limited availability.
All this — and yet Taylor won’t even turn 19 until February 11th, and Hollywood won’t find out the kid’s non-Twilight Saga box office power until Lionsgate releases its thriller Abduction later this year on September 23rd.
Taylor Lautner to Star in ‘Incarceron’
From Deadline:
Twilight Saga’s Taylor Lautner has become attached to star in Incarceron, the Fox 2000 adaptation of the Catherine Fisher young adult novel. The film is being written by Adam Cooper & Bill Collage, who are among the writers behind the Brett Ratner-directed Universal comedy Tower Heist, and who are writing Moby Dick for Timur Bekmambetov and Moses for Fox and Peter Chernin.
Lautner will play Finn, who has lived his entire life on Incarceron, a savage, futuristic prison society. He meets the daughter of the warden, who is trapped in her own prison, a futuristic world constructed beautifully to look like the 17th Century. She knows nothing of Incarceron except that it exists. She and Finn simultaneously find a crystal key that allows them to communicate and hatch an escape plan for Finn. The film will be produced by John Palermo and Lautner is likely to become involved as a producer as well.
Aside from the final two Twilight Saga films being directed by Bill Condon, Lautner starred in Abduction, the John Singleton-directed thriller from Lionsgate. He’s also booked to star as Stretch Armstrong in the Universal Pictures/Hasbro film. He’s repped by WME and Management 360.
Taylor Lautners Comic Book Biography in Stores Wednesday

The “FAME: Taylor Lautner” comic book will be in stores this Wednesday, October 27th.
Lautner was a relatively unknown actor until he made his debut in the popular vampire-romance movies. Those days are over. Today, Lautner is as much a household name as are Stewart and Pattinson.
Kimberly Sherman, who’s penned the biography comics of both Pattinson and Stewart, also wrote the new Lautner comic. Warren Martineck, an artist for DC Comics’ WildStorm studio, provided the interior art.
Both Fame titles are 32-page issues and brings to life in graphic form the stories of the worlds biggest celebrities.
“We’ve found a niche with our bio comics,” said Davis. “Our success with this comic shows that there is a much wider audience for sequential storytelling than many thought. These readers are simply looking for something other than superheroes or horror. With our bio comics, we strive to bring these new readers evenhanded, well-researched looks at some of their favorite celebrities.”

A Twilight Mum Meets Kristen and Taylor in Sydney!

Aussie Twilight Mum Gen had a wonderful experience at Luna Park Last Night, here’s what she said:
Dreams Can Come True: You just have to believe..and campaign hard!
“As soon as they released the information that Kristen Stewart & Taylor Lautner were coming to Australia for a promotional tour I got so excited! I thought, here is the chance for me to try to break into the media game and see if I could get an interview!
Getting an interview with ANY celebrity is hard and basically this was going to be near-to-impossible, but it didn’t stop me from trying! I started a Facebook campaign to “Let this Twi-Mum Interview Kristen & Taylor”. I campaigned hard, contacted every media outlet I could think of, including publicists! I had over 400 group members who were also helping me along! By Tuesday I realised we needed to step it up a notch, so I asked for people to send me their pics holding a sign saying they wanted me to interview them. We ended up with almost 100 photos! It was amazing. I recorded a quick video and put everything together and uploaded to YouTube! I had everyone sending it around the world and all over the media!
I hadn’t received any nibbles at all! On Monday morning, the day of the Q&A I was going to be attending the outdoor Q&A with fellow Aussie Twilight Mums. I was going to have fun no matter what the weather was like! I had heard that the stars would walk the carpet to greet fans at 7pm so thought as long as I got a glimpse then I would be eternally happy!
I received correspondence early Monday afternoon asking to contact a publicist. Wasn’t sure what was going on, but phoned immediately! He informed me that he had seen my campaign on Facebook and the video! Channel 7 wanted to do a news interview on me as a Twi-Mum! Rushing through my day I got to Luna Park and was met with the publicist for Nova radio. He said that the news crew as well as the “Drive Team” consisting on Ryan, Monty & Whippa wanted to meet me. We taped a small interview piece and then the Drive Team congratulated me on the campaign and said they had a surprise! They then presented me with the last indoor pass into the Q&A!!!! I was so incredibly excited!!!!!!!!!
There was a pre-function where we had yummy food and drinks! I chatted with some lovely ladies and we quickly found out that we were all “Team Robert Pattinson”!!!!! We moved into the Big Top and the stage was beautiful! They had fairy lights everywhere, blue tones. They had 2 side screens and a settee for Kristen & Taylor to sit on. Behind them was a screen with the Newborns in the water. Light boxes with flowers and Eclipse signs plus more fairy lights completed the setting.
The Q&A was fun. Throughout the interview it was apparent that Kristen & Taylor are close friends. During the showing of the clips, they’d be whispering in each others ears, laughing or pushing each other with a shared joke! The energy between them made everyone smile.
Afterwards both Kristen & Taylor headed outside to greet everyone that had been braving the cold and rain. It was great. I had the opportunity to find a spot that no one was standing at and I waited! At one time I didn’t think they were coming down our way, but then it happened!! Both Taylor and Kristen passed in front smiling, signing autographs and speaking to the fans. When the publicist said no pics so that Kristen could get to everyone she was still more than happy to offer a hug!
It was a night I’ll never forget! Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would get to meet Kristen & Taylor!”

They are in Australia to promote the latest Twilight movie in the series.
The pair enjoyed a jet boat ride on Sydney Harbour on Sunday, before paying a visit to Featherdale Wildlife Park in the city’s west.
